A two-night community event for parents, grandparents, and teens who want to think clearly about AI's growing role in how kids learn, connect, and grow up, without needing a tech background to keep up.

It's hosted by Thrive Offline as part of its work helping families have the important conversations about technology that often get skipped.

FAQ's

When is it, and do I need to attend both nights?
Both sessions run 6:30–8:30 PM at the
Kevin Brady Community Center (2250 Buckthorne Pl, The Woodlands, TX 77380):
  • October 13: Build a shared, calm understanding of what AI is actually doing in our lives right now.
  • October 27: A chance to ask real experts real questions and leave with the confidence to keep the conversation going at home.
The two nights are designed to build on each other, so attending both gives you the most complete experience. That said, each night stands on its own — you're welcome to come to just one.

What does it cost?
There's no charge to attend.

What age can attend?
13 years and up, with parent.

Will there be childcare? 
No childcare is provided for this event.

Will there be food? 
Please eat beforehand. We will only have light snack and water.

Do I need to register ahead of time?
Registration is requested, but not required.

Do I need any tech background or prior knowledge of AI?
No. This event is built for people with zero AI background just as much as people who already follow the topic closely. All that's asked of you is a genuine interest in leading the kids in your life with clarity.

Is this a religious event?
No. Thrive Offline's programs are value-based, not faith-based, grounded in shared human values like honesty, curiosity, and responsibility to the next generation, open to people of any background or none.
